CAMP MISSION
Key Biscayne Aquatic Camp is in its TWELVETH YEAR! We are excited to educate another summer of campers how to carry forward and share our motto of “RESPECT AND PROTECT” our ocean environment. We want everyone to learn what it means to be a steward of Biscayne Bay and its surrounding waters.
CAMP DIRECTOR
David E. Patlan aka known as Coach works at Key Biscayne K-8 Center as the middle school PE coach. He has been the director of Key Biscayne Aquatic Camp for ten years and loves all things water. He uses his water skills to guide and instruct public and private clients to learn kayaking and kayak fishing in fresh and saltwater, paddle boarding, canoeing, snorkeling and surfing. When asked by a parent “Is my five year old going to learn what the teenagers are learning?” He replied “Really all of the campers are learning to have fun in the ocean commanding a life time of skills doing what I love to do:)”
